The first hardware interface was codenamed B-Storm, engineered and built by Xi/bRS. It featured:
- Linear amplification of a BF signal
- Analogic Mixer for BBF and external sources
- 6-bit Light switcher
- 1-bit TTL pass-thru
The software counterpart was developed with ASM68k. It was a simple interface with BBF synth and manual frequency shifter. An experimental version written in E (Amiga) has been carried out too but not completed.
The second hardware interface was codenamed CyMEX/PI. It featured, in addiction to the B-Storm, a stereo-2bit Amplitude Modulator stadium and an unlocalized distributor for the eyelids and headphones, but nothing more. This interface project was built using photolitic etching process, but overall B-Storm resulted a better project, with noiseless ampli stadium.
Active software remained the ASM code till the development of a C port under Linux x86 using a precise syncing RTC routine.
