Description

Senses, stimulated and excited, lead to the ecstasy of perception.
Ecstasy is the conquer of the highest state.
Ecstasy means Outside Standing Level.
02L - State in the outside.

02L has been created by an international and multidisciplinary projectual group.
Designers, architects, musicians, software programmers and creators from:

Objectives

Creation of multimedial ways through architectonic installations and structures.
The main objective is the success of interactions between the spectator and the multisensorial/technologic structures.
Due to the learning of gestual codes, the user starts movement sensors (without physical contact) which produce the emission of sonorous stimulus.

Project Description

The installations are grounded in 2 basic modular structures:

• X structures ( main )
• satellites

These last ones are connected one to another through a net of wire cables.
The installations are 5. The central one is the biggest , in order to shelter an audio/video laboratory for the live event.
Each installation is different because of the spatial configuration of the structures ( X structure + satellites), as well as of the technologic contents, the different audio typologies for each one of them, the colour of the dazzling flash and, where decided, the video track.
The modules are open, which means, there is neither entrance nor exit, although the visitors can access from each point to the defined interior space.
Each module is signed with a fixed light and with an acoustic base, which warn of a presence still to discover.
The visitor come into the installation area approaching to the Center from the satellites; walks until the Center of the installation and , under the X, get into the identification zone of the movement sensors which are connected to the technologic heart.
The activation of one of the sensors means the addition of an audio track and a dazzling emission synchronised with the sound.
This relation cause - effect, activated by each user, produces the construction of an improvised audio-visual composition.
The projected modules produce a minimal impact for the environment ( don't need the perforation of the groundfloor for the anchorage, are temporary structures easy to mount , are adaptable to the surround, etc ).
The technologic heart is integrated to the X structure and let control the randomly activated events by the user, which walks around the installation space.
